Juliet has served as a pastor at Life on the Vine since 2014. She is a 2nd generation Vietnamese Chinese American. Juliet earned a Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Direction from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary (D.Min., 2026), is a graduate of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (M.Div, 2005), and an alumna of the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign (B.A., 2001). Prior to coming to Life on the Vine in 2010, she ministered as a college campus minister with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, as the Director of Worship at Northshore Chinese Christian Church (2005-2007), and as Director of Chapel at Trinity International University (2007-2009). In addition to pastoring, Juliet currently serves on the Board for Missio Alliance and writes there as a Leading Voice. She also offers spiritual direction, teaches at North Park Theological Seminary and Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, and enjoys speaking and writing about a decolonized spirituality that is contemplative, holistically justice-centered, and trauma-informed. Her writing has been featured in Christianity Today, the Asian American Christian Collaborative, Missio Alliance, and in books such as "Kingdom and Country: Following Jesus in the Land that You Love." Married to Sheldon, they have two sons who are now able to reach things on high shelves for Juliet.
