Tenebrae is latin for gloom or shadows. This service takes us through the Passion narrative with 7 scripture readings. With each successive scripture reading, a candle in the sanctuary is extinguished, plunging us deeper and deeper into shadows. We end this service in darkness, asking, "What will become of the Light of the World? We wait, we hope, we wait." All ages welcome.
