Every other month, we join a church in our denomination that serves a weekly meal for those without homes in their neighborhood of Albany Park. We prepare food, distribute clothes and other necessities, and make space to simply be present and hear each person's story. We believe Christ's words when he says "Whatever you do for the least of these, you do for me," and we look for Christ's presence among those on society's margins, knowing God is just as present there as in a church service.
